How long have you roleplayed in Clockwork:HL2RP?:
Three years or so now.
How long have you roleplayed on our servers?:
I'm new and enjoying your servers!
Have you had any experience with Vortigaunts?:
I've been vortigaunt on a total of five servers, sadly that I cannot remember. Probably because they got DDoSed as usual with most servers I see.
Give a RP example of a Free Vortigaunt's CombatRP(MUST BE 10+ LINES):
/me would take a stance of bracing as she sees an antlion charging towards her, she gets knocked back by the antlion and onto a rock, she then begins to scratch at its face making it jump off.
/me would chant and begin to hastily form a ball of flux energy using her Vortessence, she eventually charges it up just in time before the antlion lands on her. The bolt sends the antlion flying.
/me would sigh knowing that its finally dead but then would turn around and see a unit attempt to shoot her, but the unit foolishly misses from being out of breath chasing me.
/me would lunge at the unit and attempt to kick him to the ground, but she pulls a muscle and falls downwards to the floor, she grunts as the unit also pins her down.
/me would then grab a hold of the unit and forcefully scratch him with his other hand, making the unit wounded and bleeding violently.
/me would grunt as her claws penetrate the surface of his skin making him even more injured.
/me would eventually kick the unit in the stomach repeatedly and kill him, turning around and getting stabbed by another unit who had flanked her by surprise.
/me would groan and fall to the floor, the unit points her gun at Xel'Hans head but she swings her leg at the units and trips her up, making her slam the head off the stone floor and get knocked out.
/me would stomp hard upon a headcrab infront of her that didn't leap far enough, it would just barely be able to jump, it latches on and crawls up her leg. She kills it eventually and eats it.
Give a RP example of a Free Vortigaunt's PassiveRP(MUST BE 10+ LINES):
/me would walk around and stare at the sea while eating her headcrab she had cooked, she starts throwing rocks at the water and watching them bounce in strange patterns.
/me would walk away from the beach and begin to start foraging for wood, she fumbles around for a while, being unable to really find much at all. She looks somewhere else.
/me would stare curiously down the hallway of a building, spotting there is a chest in the bottom right corner of the hallway, she goes to it and forces it to open, and takes out some supplies.
/me would then start to set up a supplying station for humans so they can resupply, she would go about her business for quite a while before beginning to give out supplies
/me would look at her closest friend and approach him, she gives him some food, water and ammo before walking away towards some other people giving out some ammo.
/me would then walk towards the lighthouse and go up to the top, walking up the circular stairs for what felt nearly ten minutes before getting to the top.
/me would use her vortessence to charge the lighthouses spot light allowing her to see in the dark, she then exits the lighthouse continuing her walk.
Character Backstory(At least 4-5 8+ line paragraphs):
Xel'Han was born on a mysterious planet unknown to others, she would happily play with her fellow vortigaunts daily. They did everything together from learning to playing..and nothing could go wrong they thought. They were taught by their elder known as Ger'Allun who was 926 years old. Ger'Allun was the one who taught Xel'Han personally how to channel, and harness her Vortessence, to gain control over it. They trained everyday, doing rituals, chanting and other activities.
She was eventually getting the hang of using her vortessence, but rarely would Ger'Allun let her use it, incase she ended up doing dangerous things with it, that could harm others.
*The day the combine invaded the Vortigaunt Homeworld*
Xel'Han's sleep was abruptly interrupted by the echoing, thumping sound of combine ships landing on the Planet. She bursted out into the open to see the immense size of the combine ships. She would hastily flee from the situation, looking for a way to make her desperate escape. She glimpsed behind her, seeing her fellow vortigaunts being captured by combine and taken away. She had an extreme feeling of distress growing deep inside her, as she galloped forwards towards what she saw infront of her, which was an immensely bright light that was practically blinding but she still progressed towards it, despite the intense war going on around her.
She saw a collosal portal appear infront of her, she looked like an ant in grass compared to the size of it. She didn't hesitate because she knew her only chance of survival was to go through the portal. She quickly ran through it, leaving everything behind and never daring to look behind her as she disappeared. She then appeared on a Planet known as Planet Xen, controlled by the Nihilanth. This was the absolute horror that had frozen her when she realised. The Nihilanth had enslaved every single vortigaunt on the planet to work for it, and she was one of those enslaved vortigaunts, in which she was made to work hard constantly rarely without having breaks.
*A few days after this*
Xel'Han spread a smile of relief across her face for a moment when she heard that the Nihilanth had been slain by an unknown person identified as a human. But her smile turned to disgrace when she again spotted the combine invading. She speedily ran away from the combine, gathering with her only brother left that she had made contact with. They both darted through the crowded area of vortigaunts, and they both kept running, and running. They fleed towards portal a few elders had made, and she escaped to planet Earth with her brother.
She was dazed and confused as she arrived on the earth, she had arrived inside the sewers away from trouble.
*A few weeks after the escape from Planet Xen*
Xel'Han wandered through the slums with her brother, not trying to make shelter, instead her brother had found some humans who strangely were friendly, despite the Black Mesa Incident they found out about. They had become friends with those humans who had gave them shelter, and allowed them to go hunting for headcrabs that they ate. In return for protecting them, this was what the rebels had given them. That seemed a bargain forself and her brother, because otherwise they'd have no option but to turn themselves into the combine or face severe judgement and punishment from them. They wouldn't want that to happen to them so they took the deal.
Later on Xel'Han discovered that her friends known as rebels had gone MIA and possibly confirmed dead. And obviously, she thought she would've been a true friend to go and help them. But instead, her brother Gil'Lang forced her to stay at the base while he went to find them. A few hours later Gil'Lang had been captured by a combine OTA unit patrol of the slums looking for anti-citizens. He hadn't been seen since, rumors say he fought back and was killed.
Xel'Han wasn't pleased with this, it left her without goals and depressed, feeling worthless and with no purpose, she set out to find assistance, but obviously found none due to the brutal OTA sweeps. A day later she was being chased hastily by the same OTA sweep, they had found her in a corner, being able to then brutally beaten unconscious suddenly by an unknown weapon and was taken to the nexus. After that, she was then strapped into the chains. After a few days she woke up in a prison cell with a unit chuckling at her.
She was taken out of the nexus by the unit, and into the streets where there was crowds of citizens, who were forced to isolate by the unit.
The unit then gave her some cleaning supplies, and then Xel'Han cursed under her breath sadly, realising she was forced back into slavery for a force even worser than the Nihilanth was. She now has to clean the streets everyday possibly for the rest of her hopeless and long-lasting life. She still wonders if she might find someone else to help her again and free her.
And yes, in the end this help did come. After a month of her working constantly, doing spine-breaking work she had become aware of an attack upon the nexus hardpoint and was able to eventually flee into the sewers with a few Resistance Engineers who had been hiding. They had to carefully free her from the chains and nearly died doing it.
Along with the other members of the small Resistance Team they all decided it would be for the best if they esacpe from City 17, so they snuck onto the beach where they had a man waiting for them. They gave him the boat in exchange for ammo, and the deal was done, leaving us to successfully escape City 17 and take a boat journey for hours before they actually got to the Outlands. As well as doing on foot journeys, avoiding the violent Antlions along the way. After this Xel'Han had eventually set up her own little hideout in an abandoned house where she stayed there peacefully most of her time, but sometimes came out of her hiding area.
